- Never use heaters, stoves, or lanterns inside a tent. Do not leave any of these
items unattended if they in use outdoors.
- Stoves, lanterns and heaters should always be kept away from combustibles.
- NEVER use fireworks on public lands.
- Keep burning materials INSIDE the firepit. Never remove them.
- When departing your campsite, leave the campsite as natural as possible.
- Always inspect your campsite upon leaving for debris and other hazards.
- If you see signs of a wildfire, leave area immediately by established trails or roads. Contact a Ranger as soon as possible. If escape route is blocked, go to the nearest lake or stream. - Know your local burning regulations, do not burn unlawfully.
- Do not park your vehicle ontop of dry grass. If off-road vehicle use is allowed, internal combustion equipment requires a spark arrester.
